Sales Assistant

The company is currently looking for over 300 sales assistants throughout Australia. These workers must be bright and bubbly, customer-orientated communicators, who have a passion for the products their selling. Your smiles will allow you to build unique connections with the clients, providing world-class customer service.


You will also be working within a supportive team that is aiming to deliver that very experience to each one of the customers, maximize sales and support the management team with stock organization and visual merchandising. Your tasks will be to:

  • Attend store meetings and in-store training
  • Provide a genuine and unique experience for all customers that are in line with the Smiggle brand
  • Maximize every sale opportunity to achieve both individual and store sales targets
  • Cash handling and processing sales
  • Assist with stock management and visual merchandising
  • Working well within a team environment
  • Follow loss prevention processes to minimize stock loss

The applicants should also have some awareness of loss prevention, health & safety, visual merchandising, as well as experience in a team environment or retail. These skills are favorable but not essential. In this role, you’ll be expected to:

  • Understand what great customer service looks like
  • Demonstrate confidence to approach, connect and sell to our customers
